Group Lessons – Camp

We offer group packages ranging from one to five days and for groups of four to 16 people. Be it a celebration with friends, a team incentive with your workplace collegues or simply a group holiday trip – we will tailor to your needs. We strive to achieve a perfect balance between an individual and group approach. We inspire team spirit, but also pay close attention to each and every group member. We make sure each student learns the proper sailing technique and builds a solid foundation.

Up to 4 Hobiecat 16 (8 people) can be training at the same time while being accompanied by an instructor on a motor boat. One session takes half a day. You can book any number of days ranging from a one day fun or incentive up to a five days full course including completion of a VWDS license. If the group is larger than 8 people, we do two sessions every day with an even split. We’ll happily compile a program according to your requirements.

A group camp course could look like this:

• Day 1: Welcome, introduction to boats, basic theory, safety instructions, setup rig, sailing
• Day 2: basic theory, sail training: keep course, tacking
• Day 3: basic theory, sail training: keep course, tacking, jibing
• Day 4: basic theory, sail training: capsize, righting, regatta exercises
• Day 5: excursion, fun regatta, de-briefing

All sessions are accompanied by instructors on a motor boat to ensure maximum safety for all attendees. At the end of each session there will be a short review of what we did and how it was executed. On request, we film the performance and do video reviews.

Equipment is included in the price.

There are a lot of beautiful things to do and see where we are located. There’s also plenty of other activities than sailing. Would you like to take your group to try sailing a Yacht, surfing some waves, do a stand up paddle tour, explore the beautiful west coast, go horse riding, enjoy an afternoon climbing or even go for a parachute jump?
